Before dreams
It takes forever for me to fall asleep.  At times, I could be up for more than an hour.   My mind just wonders about things that happened during the day or how I could have done something differently.  Sometimes my mind just drifts to thoughts about the future. To such things li9ke flying a C-17 in Hawaii, or hopefully going to college of the ozarks to get my degrees in Spanish and in Business management.  I even wonder about politics. Besides becoming a pilot, I’ve also thought about becoming a politicion or even becoming the President.  Especially with the elections coming up late this year.  I will only be able to set back and watch because I will only be seventeen, but I still care because it all still affects me and my future and everthing leading up until I can vote will determine how or who that I will be votting for. I seriously hope that Obama isn’t able to beat the competitor. In my opinion, that would be a complete disaste. ( Nobama 2012). But I don’t just think about things that are so broad. I’ll also think about my family and what we will be doing soon, such as go to the park or go on a bike ride or even throw a party for someone in my family. At times, I like to think of new places that could possibly be a good place to ride my bike, such as a good route through the city or a new trail that I have yet to try out.  I can’t handle just sitting in my bed and starring at the ceiling, I have to constantly think of saomething else to think of or do. I do watch t.v. before I go to bed, but after that is when my mind really comes alive.

  2. It's interesting that you "have to constantly think" when you lie in bed. I'm always trying to do the opposite--shut down all the voices and to-do lists and worries and what-ifs and why-did-Is running through my mind...It's not easy.
